Pool Championship - ROUND ONE WINNER

Sorry for the delay in uploading this info, but the past few weeks have been rather busy.

On December 11th, 7 of the 8 Tournament winners showed up for the Round One Finals. The 8th place was filled by multiple-2nd-place-winner Jean Grégoire, giving us a total of 8 people.

The level of play was extraordinarily high with players making almost every shot that was called!

It was exciting and a nail-biter at times, but ultimately...

TED DENNISON won 1st Place (right)

and

Terry Marsolais came in 2nd (left)

Ted becomes the first of two finalists in the 2013 Championship Match to be held some time in March.

Terry and the other competitors will all have a chance to play in the Consolation Tournament that will take place the same night as the Championship Match.

Round 1 POOL Finals TONIGHT !!!

We have our 8 Round 1 Winners!

The 2013 CP Pool Championship Round 1 Finals take place tonight!

All those who won 1 of the 8 tournaments so far are qualified to play.

Everyone who came in 2nd should also come out tonight because we will be drawing from your names to fill empty spots should any 1st place people don't show up.

The winner of this Round 1 Final will be one of two competitors in the  Final Championship game. All others will have their name in a draw for the 8-person Consolation Tournament that will take place the night of the Championship.

Come on out and support your favourite player. The tension is high cuz everyone has an equal chance of winning (if they have been practicing!).

Pool Championship RESULTS - Round 1, Tournament 7

This week only 3 people showed up to participate in the Tournament, so we played a round-robin that ensured fairness for all.

With his first win after several weeks of competing, Chris Proulx finally managed to make it to the top, followed closely by Jean Grégoire.

NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST TOURNAMENT OF THIS ROUND, so I want to see everyone who hasn't yet earned a spot with a cue in hand!
